Problems syncing with Outlook - Treo Forums

I have been syncing my Treo 650 with Outlook for months. Suddenly it stopped syncing my Calendar. I have checked the conduit setup on both, the Treo and HotSync, both are setup to sync the Calendar.I have wiped the Treo and started fresh, that didn't help either. I also reinstalled the Palm HotSync software.... no change. I wonder if it's not a problem with my Outlook. Any ideas? Thanks!

Are you getting an error message in the Hotsync log?

No, I get no error message, it acts as if it is syncing the calendar. Thanks!

The first thing I would try is setting the conduit to either "Desktop Overwrites Handheld" or "Handheld Overwrites Desktop" depending on which has the more current entries.

If everything else is working, and you have a recent backup, I would hard reset the Treo, and let Hotsync repopulate everything.

Yeah, that was my plan.... so I did that about a day ago, and it still won't back up the calendar! And now I lost everything that was in the calendar - meaning before it just wouldn't add new items to my calendar.... after the hard reset and doing a HotSync, I lost the older items that were in the calendar. I should have known that might happen - just wasn't thinking! Anyway, I appreciate all of your ideas, I hate that I am wasting your time! Maybe I should try reinstalling Outlook? Thanks!

Have you checked to see if your calendar info is in Palm Desktop rather than Outlook?

sounds like you synced with handheld to overwrite desktop and it erased your calendar. Have you added a new contact and tried a new sync to see if it working now.
