problems with tetris - yikes!

hi gang, new to the forums here. I just bought the Handmark Tetris pack for palm pc, and i'm having some trouble getting it on my treo 650 (cingular edition).

First of all, i dont have activesync set up at all. The installation required it, so i downloaded it from M$'s webpage, and then proceeded to install Tetris. It said i need to run the hotsync on my phone to install the program.. I did, but nothing shows up.. I can't figure out what i'm doing wrong.. ActiveSync wont even detect my phone whatsoever.

any suggestions?

i also read somewhere treo will open .CAB files, but mine didn't seem to have an application to do so. any light on this subject is much appriciated

Is the hot sync conduit install enabled on your desktop? Are you using quick install? You may need yo install to internal instead of card.

I would double check to be sure that the pp works with the 650 at the tetris site.

Are you sure you downloaded the game for the Palm OS, not the Palm WM/WX version?????? They do have both on their site.

As far as I know CAB files are PC related, but I have been wrong before....

Right, Activesync is for Windows Mobile devices, as are .cab files. Palm OS uses Hotsync and .PDB files. go back to the website and see if they have your game pack for Palm OS and download that.
