Profiles, users: I messed it all up

Hi everybody,

The user on my Palm is in my name.
On my desktop, I show also the same user, and a profile named ''None''
For some reason, when I updated all my contacts on the Desktop, it was under the ''None'' profile, not under my name as User.
Now that my Desktop is all cleaned up and arranged, I don't know how to upload it to the Handheld, because the Hotsync syncs the Handheld with the original user names in the Desktop and not the data stored under ''none''.

I am afraid to try different things because I don't want to mess it up any more. Can anyone put me back on the right track please. Thanks in advance.

I have not really gone here before but no one is responding so maybe I can help. I believe in the upper right corner of the palm desktop you can select the user to sync with...set your conduits to pc overwrites and see what happens.

Or you might try to go into the palm folder on your pc and find the two user folders. I would make a copy of them and rename them to something different so your info will be safe. Now you can delete the info in the users that is old and syncs, and copy the info from the correct user that does not sync into that user. Now try and sync to see what happens
