Default Programs in my palm that will not work in the Treo

When I was using a palm I had a program titled bible reader. I hot sync all of my information to the Treo including the bible reader. I can see the title and the memory its taking up. But, when I try to open it I get nothing. I have tried deleting and re-installing. A friend of mine has the same issue. Does anyone have any solutions to making it work?

Your best bet is to redownload the bible reader (which one, there are quite a few by that name) and then install that version.

Off the top of my head (and current associations) bible reader would be either Palm Bible+ (http://palmbibleplus.sourceforge.net) or Olive Tree's Bible Reader (http://olivetree.com). In both cases, you would want to update to the latest versions.

EDIT: it also seems that your bible's might not be in the place that the program can find them. Try putting a bible either on a memory card in the /PALM/Launcher folder, or just install one bible to your internal memory and from there run the program. Just make sure that you are using bibles that are compatable with the bible reader that you are using.

Just make sure that whatever program you install it is designed for the Treo Palm OS V5. Older Palm software can wreak havoc with the Treo.

Good Luck!!!
