Push Email for Treo 650?

I use Goodlink email for push email. My work uses Microsoft Server Exchange and Outlook. This really works well. I wasn't a fan of Outlook until I started using Goodlink.
I use Snappermail for my other pop email accounts.

I have a couple quick questions for whoever can answer them, I am trying the chattermail and have set up my work e-mail (microsoft exchange server) and also my home e-mail (Outlook with roadrunner, pop3 I believe), my work e-mail works perfectly but I can only receive from my pop3 account, not send.

And second, the pop3 account shows offline and will only work when I do a quicksync, I am confused, can anybody help?

Roadrunner does not allow sending of email using their system from a mobile device. A free service that allows sending of email: Gmail or your device service provider.

A POP3 account is always off line and will sync only at a set time or when you force the sync. IMAP is always on line and if the server and device software support PUSH, it will sync the mail when an email hits the mail server. If the IMAP server does not support PUSH, then you have poll for your email.
