Well I have for my wife "Afternoon delight"... and for some stupid people I deal with I use a combination of "Looney Toones", "Gilligan's Island", and "Mr. Ed. theme"....
However, back to my original question.... i had a friend over recently who DOES NOT have a Treo, but some other kind of devise...and they WERE ABLE TO SET INCOMING CALLERS TO HEAR A SPECIFIC RING ON THEIR END.
I can set the rings for incoming callers to whatever I want, but the ability to have them hear what I want them to hear....is quite intreging ... question is, can this phone do it?

I think you are talking about ringback tones? If you are you have to order them through Verizon and you can pick any song you like.

is there any way to download music to the SD card and be able to use it as a ringtone.

minitones will do that for you

Ringers ===> Calltones

I can help with this issue, although I have Sprint: when your phone rings what you hear is a 'ringtone' - we've all heard of that by now.
Sprint offers what they call 'calltones'. Calltones are purchased (approx. $2.99 for 90 days) and assigned on the Sprint website. If you call me, and I have assigned your number to a purchased calltone(song), you will hear the calltone for it's duration (15-30 seconds) and then I will receive your call/hear my ringtone for your number. Each calltone must be assigned to phone numbers you select on the website. I don't believe you can say 'all my numbers' should hear this call tone - you must manually select which numbers receive/hear which call tones.
In other words, ringtones are heard on the receiving phone, and call tones are heard on the originating phone (if purchased/assigned etc.).
Hope this helps.

You can also record your own ringers using the sounds application manager. Ben
Honolulu - 2,500 miles west of somewhere in the middle of nowhere, the land of Shakes. Kyoceria 6135, Treo 300, 600, 650, 700p, 700w, Centro & 800W, Touch Pro plus 3 other WM phones...
