Questions about Cingular Data plan or Media plan

Okay, this may be a silly inquiry but even though I've been with Cingular for several years, I'm still not very knowedgable when it comes to the plans/packages, etc.
I bought an unlocked Treo 650 on ebay. I wasn't sure what I needed as far as a plan for getting email with my 650.
I'm using SnapperMail Premier. Do I need a Data Plan or would the MEdia Works with 5MB of MEdia Net be what I need?
I signed up for the 5MB Data Plan but am now wondering if I need it since I will not be using my Treo with my laptop at all.
I would definitely save a few bucks if I didn't need the Data Plan and upgraded from Media Basic to MEdia Works.
Some advice from some of the knowedgable people here is much appreciated

I went ahead and called Cingular and endured the on-hold wait time and asked them what I needed to know. I ended up getting rid of the Data Plan and upgraded from the Media Basic to the MEdia Works so all is taken care of now.
