    Default Randomly shuts off...

My 650 has started to give me problems. The issue is that while my phone is in my pocket, it will shut off at random times and turn itself back on just to the initial screen. This leads to my phone not being connected to my network so I miss a decent number of calls.

Is this a common problem? Is there anything I can do about it?

    Thanks for any help.

do a backup and hard reset your phone. Do not sync for a few days to see if the problem is gone. This will tell you if it is a hardware or software issue.

    Hey,

I have the exact same problem! I have had it for a couple of days now...I hard reset my phone and still no fix. I have found that if I put pressure on the phone right next to the green "send" button, the phone turns on. When I take the pressure off, the phone turns off. Does anybody know what the problem may be? You should try the pressure technique and see if it helps you. Let me know what happens!

If you have a torx driver (#5 I think) you might check to see if the housing screws have come loose or might even be missing.
