I really like ptunes. Its here in the software store. An essential Treo App is TCPMP. It does MP-3, AVI, Matroska, MP4, Ogg Media, ASF, and more!!! And its FREE!!

Forum Member Maceyr has done some pretty good tutorials on music players. Here is her link to TCPMP. http://palmdiscovery.netfirms.com/nf...video-players/
And another link where she featured some other music players

Also, fairly new out is motion. Very ipod-like interface . .

However, ptunes is the only one I know of that also streams internet radio.

Once real player is open you can click on songs then select the songs or files you have downloaded. They're other players out there, you may do a search here and find the one you like.

real player is unreal. every time i used to open it it caused some reset of preferences somewhere so that using the 5way brought about really annoying "pop" sound which i couldn't disable unless a soft reset.

recently found Dioplayer. works fine. freeware too.

I tried the TCPMP player but I don't like that it doesn't work in the backgroung and I can only get .mpg video's to work on there. DioPlayer doesn't seem to work with videos...

ptunes WILL work in the BG, and the deluxe version supports Steaming audio. ptunes also lets you create playlists. I am not aware of a better video player than TCPMP. If you find anything you like better, on the video or the audio side, please share it here . .
