Recurring appointments in calendar

Can anyone help?! Is there a way in my Treo of saving a note in a certain recurring appointment without making that note also apply to all future appointments within that recurrence? I can do it on the Mac OK but not the treo!

bugs the hell outa me too!

here's my workaround.

set up recurring appointment as usual and select note.
enter fullstop [.] (if you don't enter anything it autodeletes note)
"done"

now all repeating entries have a note containing only [.]

now go to specific entry you want to alter with unique note.

place cursor over entry and select details not the note icon on the calendar screen

now in the event details screen select the note icon
this will bring up the "apply changes to..." option.
select current

this then enters only in the current note.

quite why it should be this complicated i don't know but there you go.
