I wouldn't run programs off the SD Card.

You can access your SD Card by using a card reader or the program Card Export.

There is no reason to NOT run apps of the SD card.

Too many of them work just fine not to. Save valuable space on your treo for apps that need the RAM. DO you have a thrid party launcher or are you using the one built in?

A card reader is the best way to move apps around on a card. For instance all games just about are on my card and I have shortcuts on the RAM.

What types of apps are on your phone and what does this mean...you don't have any apps on the card at all.....

So then you are limited to 15 or so MB of RAM for all the apps you want?

I had over a 100 apps on my phone with a 1gig SD card and it was stable.

The only difference is the app/program opens a tiny bit slower....instead of one second maybe 3 or 5 secs. I can't see having this phone with such ability and not running it to its potential.

That's not bad. The only time I've run from the card with be running Maps for Mapopolis off the card - and that was with my 600.

I really only had the apps to see the abilities of the phone and test the stability of the 650. Over at MTDN there is a guy with 148 I believe and all is well. Most small apps or games...
I have since condensed it to just what I use....or think I might use in the future.
