Replacement screen very dim

I recently cracked my 650 screen and replaced it with a new screen from pdaparts.com,, following their instructions...

However, when turning on the phone, the screen is very dim (have to really squint to see anything) yet all appears to work, including the digitizer.

When I try to adjust brightness with Control-P the keyboard backlight brightness goes up and down but the screen brightness (dimness) remains unchanged.

Can anyone help?

Have you contacted PDAParts.com? I would think they would be the ones to provide some help or information.

I have never replaced a screen, so I can't offer insight.
