Need Help Resetting when attempting to view call log

Anyone else having this problem? I have been using Chapura Key Suites for well over a year (coming up on 2) with no problems until the past month or two. I really need to be able to view my call log, but every time I try, the phone turns itself off and back on. HELP!:gasp:

I am not familiar with the application; however, have you tried copying the file to the desktop and seeing what it looks like? Also, there are a couple of other applications that read the call log - does this happen using the default dialer? and another question, deleting Chapura Key Suites, executing a soft reset and reinstalling it - has that been done?

HI, Benjie. I use the Chapura application because it is the only program I could find that allows me to synchronize MS Outlook Business Contact Manager contacts (without it, I only get personal contacts updated). I have not tried copying the file to the desktop--not sure I know how to do that, to be truthful. However, I have done the hard reset on the Treo after first deleting Chapura Key Suites, and then reinstalled the software. It didn't help. I am very open to removing the Keysuites altogether if I can find a program that updates MS Bus Contact Mgr!

Next question, after executing the hard delete, did you do a restore? When doing a restore you bring the problem back.

My wife use to use MS Outlook and got away from it due to the occasional problem encountered with updating. I stick with the Palm desktop and have had no hassle

The call log database is: PhoneCallDB and is the one to play with - make a copy of it before playing. It is always possible that this file has become corrupt and if that is the case, deleting it is the answer. When a standard backup to the desktop is done, it is backed up to the backup folder.
