resetting while resetting / loose battery?
Hi,
I've got a 650 I've had for years and year. I have almost no custom apps, and nothing that's been added in the past year. Sudden, my treo is resetting with even the slightest pressure on the back cover. it will even reset while resetting, the screen and keyboard lights flickering on and off. If I set it on a flat surface, sometimes I can use it long enough to get a phone number from my contacts.. but if it pick it up, it starts resetting again. I have the original battery in it.
Anyone seen this? I took it apart looking for a loose connection, but didn't see anything obvious...

Are all of the torx screws present and are they tight or are any missing? Are you using an actual torx driver or trying to use a flat or phillips driver?

No, there are a few missing... which is odd, since I've never removed any. I have torx driver. Seems pretty odd that it would work w/out the screws for years, then suddenly go on the fritz... what size screw do I need?

ebay or the online parts shops for parts. If the case is pressing on something or a key sticking you can get resets and all sorts of problems. With the case off can you use it.
Have you banged or dropped your treo??
Steves advice is good to get all the screws to be sure the case is fit right. or back off on some screws that may be torquing the treo.
Plunker
Just trying to learn and talk at the same time here.

Take a look at pdaparts.com for screws. As a matter of fact, here is a link to a set available at that site. I am sure there are many other sellers too...
BTW....it is very common that they loosen up and fall out, but you don't even realize it.
