OK, like I said, a bit TREO Stupid here. Can you walk me through that. Should I syn my TREO with the card as the main window? How does it now to sync it to the card and not the phone?

make sure you get the latest version of palm desktop. open the quick install tool. there you will see two areas that say "drag items here for installation" the top one will say "Handheld." the bottom one will say "Expansiopn Card." just drag, drop, and press the sync button on your cable.

don't know if anyone has mentioned minitones yet? its freeware and allows you to accurately, and on the treo, edit any mp3 you put onto your sd card. so you can chose even riffs, drum breaks, single lines, whatever!
for instance i've just got the intro to gnarls barkley crazy, or the "somebody answer the phone" bit from communication by yomada (which IS pretty cool i have to say when it rings when i'm scrubbed in theatre and actually asks "somebody answer the phone"

How do I get minitones....and thanks

jer- you're gonna have to step up to the plate soon here...
go to google, enter minitones. you'll get this
http://www.google.com/search?client=...utf-8&oe=utf-8
go to any of the websites and download it.
then, as above for other apps, open the zip file, click on the .prc and it'll add it to your install. i suggest you put it on your card.
hotsynch
now as for mp3s DON'T try to hotsynch them unless you have a day to spare; get a card reader- about $5 and worth your weight in gold. pop your fave mp3s on there and away you go. minitones'll walk you thru.
