ringo note working

Ok guys i'm ashamed to say that I don't remember how to set this up since I done it awhile. I loaded my ringo again and I have my mp3's with my names attached and I made the tones under the preferences set to silent at one point and then I tried no sound, but when someone called I heard nothing, if I left the preference tones set to an actural tone that tone will play instead of the ringo.

If I remember correctly you just leave the phone's normal preferences alone and set up everything through ringo, including the ringtone, who it will ring for, etc etc.
