I do not want to pay ten dollars a month for ringtones. Is there a way I could download ringtones to my treo or pay just for ringtones that i want on a pay for ringtone one at a time.
it seems stupid to pay ten dollars a month. thanks john g

Do a search in the 650 forum here in ET and you will probably find a thread with a program thats either free or certainly not 10 a month or ideas that you can use. You might also try freewarepalm.com or palmfreeware.com. I know there are threads her that talk about downloading songs as mp3 and rip segments to use as ringtones. Look around and get back if you need more help. Welsome to ET enjoy and learn and help others.

try minitones, you can make your own ringtones

You could try 3gforfree.com. I believe if accessing from your phone downloads are free. I did a few, but it has been a long time and I am forgetful...

I did what steve did by using 3gforfree. My sons got be into clipping mp3s to shorten then use minitones to use on the treo. They sound alot better than the other tones.
