Ringtone options...
I'm new to the Treo 650 and am clueless to all the options available... so please be kind.
I'm a Cingular user and of course the Treo is not compatible with their optional music-tone ringtones. Where can I purchase ringtones for my Treo and how can I download and change the settings in my phone for use? Is this possible?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks much!

Hi DawnBoo! To get you started right away, you might want to read the thread below!

then, later on, you can install a program such as mring or Ringo, so your Treo can play MP-3's. These programs will allow you to assign MP-3's to indivduals, as well as other features.
Hope this helps to get you started and welcome in!

Awesome thanks! I checkout out mRing and it looks pretty cool... which brings to me a whole new set of questions... lol.
If anyone is familiar with mRing... when uploading MP3's to my card and assigning them to a caller.... does the MP3 file need to already be cropped to fit normal ringtone length? If so, is there an easy program I can download for my PC to help me with this?
Thanks again!

I can't speak for mring but as far as Ringo goes, you can assign any mp-3 you have on your card to it. I had some cropped ones but have assigned whole songs to several of the contacts in my list
