Default ringtone w/out 3rd party help

I followed the instuctions on how to make a .qcp file and it worked as a ringtone, but that site that sends them via test messages to your phone is for sprint. Does anyone know how to send the .qcp to the treo for cingular?

    Default

I don't think it matters, that link takes your .qcp file and sends .gcd file (to sprint users) otherwise you get nothing. Either way neither I haven't had any luck getting either file to be recognized by the Treo software.

I still cant find a way to put the ringtone file on the treo from the card. The format is .qcp, please correct me if im wrong, but i think thats what ringtones are for the treo. and i heard once that goes on your treo it should show up under were the ringtones are to choose. any ideas on how to put a ringtone on the treo. Ive looked at all the threads, and i really haven't found anything to help me.
