Default running excel programs on treo 650

hello, i will be getting a treo 650 tomorrow which is exciting, but i have a problem. i need to run an excel program on the phone and while playing around with someone else's 650 yesterday i was unable to get it to run the program. i have some software called wifile i think, and it was supposed to allow the phone to run excel programs but had no success using it. what is the trick to doing this? thanks in advance!

Your two best options are either Documents To Go or Quick Office. It's been a while since I had my 650, but I believe the basic version of Docs To Go was included on the CD.

Yes Documents To Go Pro comes prepackaged with the Treo 650.
It does all you need with Excel, Word and Powerpoint but for a few lesser features.
For example one thing i always found that you could edit cell data etc but you can edit/create/delete comments in an excel sheet. You can only view them on your Treo but other data in the cells can be modified etc.
