Default saving maps to SD card

could someone help me figure out how to save maps to my sd card? I gave a 1gb card, and I'm using 'Delorme Street Atlas 2005 Handheld USA. I have saved a 8 mg of info, but on my pda (Treo 650). How can I transfer this to my sd card then delete it from my pda? Thanks for the help. My old ipaq gave me the option of saving to the pda or sd card whenever I saved something, so with my palm treo I am completely in the dark. Thanks for the help.
P.S. I just bought my Treo, and I love it!!!

    Two options:
    - Pick up an SD Card Reader which will allow you to mount your SD card to your PC -- then you can add/delete files as you please
    - Use Card Export which allows you to mount the SD card on your PC while it's in the Treo --

I just bought my Treo, and I love it!!!
    Congratulations! It's an awesome device.:D

Are you refering to moving the maps from your RAM on the 650 to the card?

Thanks. I think I'm better off getting a good GPS. Any suggestions for the best GPS for Treo 650?

seidio g2500m is what I have but I use to use a tomtom gps reciever. Both worked great and i use mapopolis software. Both are wired kits not sure if you want it portable or not. I only use mine in the car..

System Tools or Repair GPS Maps and Seidio G2500m

Chris is correct about the card reader it is the easiest way to move large files to the SD card.

Beware about the Seidio G2500 for the treo 650. I have had two and returned both. The 650 unit does not sit well in the cradle, the speaker connection is poor and breaks-up. Seidio did return the cradle but left me with the software I cannot use.

I'm going to wait for the iGolf gps. They are making an SD card GPS receiver for the Treo 650. All the portability of an SD card, easy to carry:cool: .

    Default SD GPS Package

From their site, it looks it's not compatible with the Treo "at this time".

Not at this moment, but they have one in the works. There is a press release on their web site (in pdf format) talking about the release for the Treo 650.

But on second thought, since it uses the SD slot (where I will need my map info) , I think I am better off with bluetooth. I would probably use more megs than I have available on my Treo.
