Default Saving text messages to a PC

Is there any way to save text message threads as a document, possibly as a word file? I've tried beaming, cut-and-pasting and other methods, but nothing works. Thanks.

Copy the text to a memo, then when you sync, it will be on your memos. Or If you have bluetooth on your computer, just send it via bluetooth.

Thanks, xdayveedx, but whenever I try either option, I am told "clipboard limit exceeded." I want to move entire threads over, not just single messages. Any way around this? Thanks again.

ah, i see what you mean...when i did it, i only copyed a few texts, say a convo with 10 texts or so.

I guess you could copy it in sections, even though it would be a pain in the butt. This is the best way i know how. If you can wait, someone might have better insight on the matter.

There is an application that allows you to save SMS to the device - SMS Convert is one of them. And take a look at www.treodesktop.com.

If you have a document application, such as Wordsmith, you can create a dummy document from your computer using MS Word, and select this file to sync to your smartphone. Once it's there, you can cut-and-paste to it, and the next time you sync, the document will come back to the computer with this info in it.
