Hi-
That's odd and it's something I haven't experienced. What version are you running?

I'd try checking out TomTom's site. I believe there is an update that resolves this issue. Right now, they are up to 5.2.1.

Default Treo 650 and Tom Tom

I purchased the Palm version of the Tom Tom Navigation system and the GPS antenna would take up to 15 minutes to connect in more than one geographic area. Very frustrating.

I received as a gift the Tom Tom Navigator 5 as a gift coincidentally and connected the Tom Tom receiver and it found satelites immediately. I am returning the Palm version since their customer support does not support what they sell. They directed me to Tom Tom.

All this is leading to a question. The CD's look identical in both packeages. Do you feel like I should un-install the first version and install the Navigator 5? If so, how do you un-install the Tom Tom Navigation software? I don't see it as an option in the delete function on the Treo.

The Palm version comes with TomTom 5, so no need to uninstall.

Actually having the same issue with the screen turning off and I have installed the update. It didn't do it before the update. I even have the "always on" program add on set to 10 minutes. Any help here would be appreciated.
