    Question SD to SD Transfer

I bought a new 2 GB SD Card and am looking for an easy way to transfer the apps from my old SD card to the new one. Is there some way I can do this without having to copy one application at a time to the Treo and then back to the new card? That method would take a very long time. I also tried to copy the SD card contents to my PC, all files and directories except the apps were copied, so that did not help. Thanks.

    Hi:

I am certainly not a Treo expert, but in order to have a program function doesn't it have to be installed to the media? I don't know that simply copying them will give you the result you want.

That said, if you have a built-in card reader in your PC, purchase an external one for $10-$15 and transfer that way. That would be the fastest method.

PROBLEM SOLVED!!! I DID use my card reader to copy the SD card, everything copied, EXCEPT the apps. Then it occurred to me that I need to turn on "Show all files" in my PC file manager. Then I went to the PALM/Launcher directory of my copy of the original card in my PC. The files were all there. I selected and copied the files, then pasted them in the same directory of my new card, and IT WORKED! Hope this helps others who want to upgrade their SD cards.
