Smile Searching with TREO 650

Wow! This is the first TREO I have ever owned and I love everything about it so far. There is one question that I have however. I am syncing the TREO with the program called Maximizer. It is a contact management program that I use for my business. I have a list of account numbers, about 300, with names attached that the TREO stores in the Memos area. Previously on my Zire 31, if I was looking for an account number for a particular customer I just has to select a "Search" Icon on the display and put in the customers name. Every entry relating to that customer would then show on the screen and I would just look for the entry under the title, "MEMO". This would take me right to there entry in the memos and thus I would see the 4 digit account number right away. With the TREO I don't even see a search option. I realize that in the contacts list I can just start typing in the persons name and that will find the person in the contact list, but doesn't help me with the Memo entry.

I find this problem strange as I am using OS 5 as far as I can tell which is a newer Palm OS than my old one. Shouldn't there still be a "Global" type search feature?

The option button is the dark spot on the bottom right. You may know that, I just remember that I had a problem right after I got my treo and someone told me to use the option button and I was lost. You're probably wiser than I am, but that might help.

Take this a step further, Genius from www.hobbyistsoftware.com has the capability of searching the Internet or the Treo itself. Ben
