Secure File PDA Backup Card

G'Day all...I am having difficulty with my SD Card backup. I have used one with my Palm I705 and it worked very well. When i use the backup card on my 650 it appears to be working fine untill it gets to, 'Removing Orphan Files'. After a few moments it fails with the message 'Backup failed or was cancelled'. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem or know of another card which is better?

Are you a Resco Backup user? and one time I saw this message on my 650 when I had too little memory on the device. However, I am not saying this is always the case.

Make sure that the backup program supports the Treo 650, as it is an NVFS device, unlike the i705. A lot of times, older programs do not support NVFS and thus, a lot of times, you will encounter problems.

...sorry for the delay...was out at sea. This is a new card and it stated on the PALM WEB site this device is supported. As far as the Resco backup I am really wanting to use a card rather than my desktop doc. This way I can keep it in my wallet and use it, if need be, when I am not at my PC.

Try with Resco Backup and see what happens. Ben
