I just got the battery cover on Monday. First, let me preface this with the fact that my career for the last 20 years has been in automotive quality control in the plastics industry.
My first thought was that I'm not too impressed with the molding quality. The "stock" battery cover on my Sprint 650 is perfect! Fits well, all trim lines are smooth and consistent. The Seidio just isn't up the same quality level. The gaps are inconsistent and the corners (especially around the dock connection) are not sharp.
Next, I went to install it on my Treo and I couldn't even get it to fit. A little careful trimming with an Exacto knife on the tabs and it finally fit, although very tightly.
Final issue was when I went to remove the stylus for the first time. Apparently Seidio missed a little on the dimensions, because the stylus was now a lot more difficult to remove. It has gotten a little better after a dozen or so removals.
Before you think all I'm doing is beating it up, there is some good news. The blue color is a dead-on match to the rest of the phone (much better than the photo above).
Now I'm a little pickier than most, so take the above comments how you want. For $7.95 I don't feel like I was ripped off, but I do plan on carefully drilling a small hole in my old cover putting it back on just due to the fit and stylus issues.
