    Favorite send/receive e-mails - newbie question

    Hi there,

Currently I am using a Blackberry device - works fine. However I would like to replace it on Treo 650 - but I'll be happy to have similar functionality.

Can I configure sending/receiving options to keep GPRS active all the time and check automatically for new e-mails every ~5 minutes?
Because I am travelling a lot by a subway - obviously not network coverage - I wonder if Treo can keep on trying estabilish a connection in the background - and when the network is available - send messages from an outbox?
I wish not to reveive thousends of warnings that network connection was not avilable or send/receive failed.

Finaly, what an e-mail application supports GMAIL accounts?

    Thanks a lot,

    Jacek

    Hi Jacek,
Snappermail will definitely do all this for you:
    1. Can check for new email every 5 minutes.
    2. Will keep trying until it gets coverage to send/receive
    3. Will activate GPRS on its own to send/receive.
    4. Keeps a log of failed attempts, but they are hidden unless you specifically pull up the log to review it.
    5. I use it with Gmail account with no problems at all.

    Good Luck!
