Sending/Downloading mp3s without SD CARD? - Treo Forums

Is this at all possible, all my attempts have failed.

It's much easier to use an SD card -- and either CardExport or a USB SD Card Reader. Then it's just drag and drop from your PC.

All mp3 files need to be saved to an external storage media and not directly into the treo's RAM.

The reason I ask is because I wanted to use an mp3 for a ringtone. If I got an SD card would I be able to do this?

Yes. Most of us place all of our MP3's on the SD card and use a ringtone manager for our ringtones.

I've been testing out RingoPro - but the jury is still out. I'm getting soft resets now and again on SMS messages. I'd suggest going the trial route on Ringo Pro and MRing. Just don't install both at the same time. Then select whichever works best for you. I just wish there was a Treo 650 version of CallFilter -- I loved that program on my 600.
