I have not heard of a 3g sim card. I have heard that users have had to upgrade to a newer sim card. My service does not use a sim card.

Just trying to learn and talk at the same time here.
I don't have a GSM phone, but reading these boards I have seen SIM cards mentioned often. I thought the problem card was the old 32k cards and the updated ones are 64k.
3gb???? I don't think so....

not 3gb, 3rd generation, and i have a 64k sim in my phone now, i guess it depends on the carrier

Based completely on a Cingular (or at&t or what ever they are this week) rep, I was told that if you are in a 3G area, of which I am not, you can get a updated SIM card to boost web performance. She called it a "3G SIM."

thx!guys for all ya'll help! my palm treo is working ok now!!I have to went and get a 3g sim card for the treo 650 becuase the 64k sim card have to 5 volts instead of 3g 3-volts sim card and the 64k sim card does not surport web service and so and so thank's again:cool:
