 |  "Smartphone screen turns on every 30-60 seconds" This is a problem that palm recognizes is an issue after running the new 1.13 updater released on 1\24\06. I am having problem. Here is there solution: This is an issue identified with the Palm Universal Keyboard driver. You will need to turn the keyboard application off when not using the keyboard.
Does anyone have a "Keyboard" application? I looked in prefs and everwhere else I could think of with no luck.

| Ok, mine turns on occasionally seemingly by itself for no reason, which is why I read this topic. It's not every 30-60 seconds, maybe every hour or even less. But I don't have this "Keyboard" app, is it not on Verizon firmware? I have the latest version. Any other reasons mine might be turning on by itself sometimes? I have no "missed" things and I have never set any alarms. |

  | Had that issue one before, check to make sure that any programs that you might have installed that would be connecting to the Internet are not connecting. For example, if you have an email in the outbox that is trying to send itself. Keyboard would be an application on your home screen. It would not be under prefs.
