    Default SMS alerts

    does anyone know of an app that will handle SMS messages for me, especially the alerting of such messages? I need something that will work more like a pager (especially a "reminder chirp" after a preset interval where the SMS has not been acknowledged).

    On a related note, does anyone using Verizon have difficult receiving SMS messages? My wife has sent me several reently that I have not received. It could be user error (on her part, of course :D ) but I'm not entirely convinced the messages aren't dropped altogether. She has a Motorola Verizon phone and I have the Verizon Palm 650.

    Found it. TreoAlertMgr, available at PDAapps does exactly what I needed.
