SMS Issue

Hi

I have an issue with SMS on my Treo 650.

I can send sms's but can not receive them. I contacted Virgin Mobile who said that all is in order with them and to try and send an sms to my self which I can and did.

I sent several sms messages overseas which I know arrived, everyone said that they responded immediately but I never received them.

Is this a setting issue on my treo or an issue for Virgin Mobile.

Have you changed your number or area code ??? If you have they may be sending it to the wrong area code. Your friends will need to update their address books..

I have sorted out the issue - I did have a new sim card for my phone - from Virgin Mobile in Australia - It was only after the sixth call to the help desk to sort it out that they finally admitted that there is a known issue with Virgin Sim Cards that start with the number 0466 (which is what I had) they reissued me a new number and all works perfectly now.
