    System Tools or Repair SMS Length.

    On treo 650, i get sms even more than 160 words. But I cant create, send or forward sms more than 160 words.

    Are the ones you get from someone on a different carrier network?

    Usually the 160 character limit is imposed by the carrier. Look around the boards though as I recall some posts indicating there were hacks to get around it. I don't recall if they were the Palm OS or WM...

    I believe if you are a Sprint customer on the POS, you are stuck at 160. In fact, I have not seen any work arounds with it. On the WM scene, Sprint has that limitation; however, a registry edit gets you out of that by creating multiple outgoing messages.

    Dear all
    I am using Cingular set but in Pakistan. Nokia does send more then 160 words sms on same carrier.
