Softick card export stopped working proper... - Treo Forums

Hello, the program that i use softick card export, which turns the phone's flash card into a USB drive thing stopped work for some reason.

I know the connection to the computer is fine since i can still use hotsync. But when i try to connect with softick the computer plays this "connecting' sound but then does nothing. I dont see the drive that i use to see in my computer and when i click on disconnect in the treo it gives

"cannot send USB discriptor. Host failure?"

How do i fix this?

Simply use a File manager utility like FileZ. Tap the View Preferences. Then, go down to find the entry with pusb. Select it and Delete it. Then, run Card Export II again, and your computer should now be able to detect your Palm again as a temporary removable drive.

i dont use filez... how would i get to this with zlauncher?

I'm not sure if ZLauncher allows you to to access preferences files database. What you need to do is just delete the pusb in the preferences database. If ZLauncher doesn't have that option, then just get FileZ. It's free and once you use it, you can always delete it.

thanks, it works. how come deleting pusb preference fixes the problem?
