Software Installation CD Help!

I purchased my treo without the Software Installation CD, and i cant find the download anywhere. Does anyone know where i can download this installation without buying the cd? Thanks!

I searched the palm website found many software downloads but nothing equal to the installation cd.....sorry!

This is Kevin from Palm. You can go to the main Palm Support page and pick your Treo model and carrier from the drop-down box. You'll then find the link for "Download Palm Desktop & HotSync Manager" at about made page. Keep in mind that Desktop 4.1.4E is a bare-bones version that does not include the bonus software and certain conduits that are on the CD.

Can you please let me know wht other software or contents are present on the CD provided with Treo 650 apart from Hotsync Manager..... If I can get to know the list, I can search for that software online from diff websites and download it....

Kevin, will the windows media player play wmp files? I don't remember seeing that on my disk.

First, just to be clear, the Windows Media Player on the CD is not for that device, it's for the Windows PC. Palm enclosed it on the install disk so its "Media" function of Palm Desktop could play videos and music, IF you didn't have the latest version of WMP on your computer.
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you need third-party software to either convert or play wmp files on the Treo.
