special ringtone

hi, asking for help.
i would like to use as ringtone for my treo , the bass nice sound of the sync operation , i called palm support but they have no idea .
any sugestion ??

Bass sound??? mine makes a couple of piano type notes and that is it. If you could record them and get them on your computer you can use about any sound you would like. Record them in mp3 format and sync them to your treo or card and use minitones to move them into your sounds folder. Ringtones should be about 30 secs. in length. Wave files are huge memory eaters.

I was under the impression that the 650 has a primitive ring tone manager - sounds & alerts --> at the bottom of the screen there is a NEW button that can be used to record a ring tone. A cheap alternative.

i dont see a new buuton at the bottom of the screen i am w cingular who are you with? it may be a carrier specific button.

I'm a sprinter, too. Why do carriers screw with features. This one kind of ties into the bluetoothing ringtones with sprint....
