Specific Ringtone for a Contact

I have downloaded a song onto my phone and I want to customize to a certain person in my contact list. How do I do that?

Natively, the Treo can only work with MIDI tones (like those built-in). For MP3s, WAVs, etc., you need a ringtone manager application. There are plenty out there: mRing, Ringo, LightWav, Call Filter, etc.

Do a forum search here, or read customer reviews at PalmGear, MyTreo.net, or Handango, and you'll find peoples' experiences with them.

For Midi, you can assign a ringtone to a particular contact by adding a Speed Dial Favorites button for that contact. You can then configure a ringtone within the settings for the button.
