    System Tools or Repair sporadic dead keys

    I've also experienced times when one or another key is dead. i have to remove the battery and reboot to make a call!!! i'm starting to hate this phone. Now, the on/off key is dead and it won't work at all. i tried replacing the battery with a new one to no avail. any suggestions? this is an awfully expensive piece to behave like this.... k

    How long have you had the phone? You might be able to get it replaced by your carrier.

    Year and a half. It's not in warranty. Short of sending it off for repair, any local chains that repair cell phones? I tried to take it apart myself for cleaning, but could only get so far without the manual.
