Sprint Incoming Call while on internet - Treo Forums

Okay, I have called over a dozen Sprint (and some still claim they are a Nextel Store), and I can not get a straight answer. A guy over on slickdeals.net, has an A900 which is EVDO and he says that when he is on EVDO he can get an incoming call which kicks him off the internet. However, with the Treo 650 only using PCS, and not broadband it goes straight to my voicemail.

Sprint claims that it will always go to your voicemail regardless of the phone, and that only nextel has the incoming call feature. So...

Any of you ex 6700 data users (EVDO) on Sprint, that now own a Treo 650, can confirm that you were able to receive calls while on the broadband internet and that is simply kicked you off the net when the call came, and now you can't due to the 650 being the slower bandwidth?

Any help at all with this is greatly appreciated, as it can propose one more reason for me to move to the 700 when available (even though I'm getting accustomed to the Palm OS rather quickly).

Mine goes to voice mail also. I think I read that in the manual also. Don't know if that is a treo or sprint issue.

I wasn't asking if other Treo owners had this issue as their phone should be the exact same way, I'm asking if anyone can confirm that while they were are on EVDO of Sprint (maybe an old phone or a friend's) if they can get an incoming call.
