Just moved to a new location that has horrible service.

Well, if you are having trouble with Verizon, then I would speak to friends/family in the area. See how they like Sprint and/or Cingular compared to Verizon.

Which service provider, Sprint or Verizon will offer the best service (features) with the Treo 650.
|
Well, that's a tough one (or very easy one) because Verizon hasn't released the Treo 650 just yet. It should be released by the end of May. (probably earlier than later).
Advantages for Sprint:
Less expensive for the Treo 650. The
Everything Treo Store has it for $289.99 with a new service plan.
It's been around and various fixes have been released such as the
Sprint 1.08 Updater
Data plan is only $15 a monht
Advantages for Verizon:
Rock solid network and service
It will be the latest and greatest version of the Treo 650 (not sure it that's much different than the Sprint model as I'm sure there are updates occuring with the Sprint line)
For some reason, a lot of folks like Verizon. I'm sure this has to do with service, coverage etc. In the past, Sprint has gotten a bad rap. I had a Sprint Treo 300 and loved the service. I've posted many times on these forums that I would go back in a heartbeat. I left because they wouldn't give me a good deal on a new Treo -- even though I was out of contract. So, I jumped ship.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks.
