Oops, sorry Chris. As you can see, I'm new here. I've just been following every thread I can find on the AT&T/Cingular merger in hopes of finding out that Cingular will have the Treo 650 soon. I'm currently an AT&T customer who was told by Cingular sales not to bother "porting-in" because I'd be on Cingular in the next couple of weeks.

    Best regards,

    Bill

Sounds good. I'm with Cingular myself, so I'm curious when Cingular will have the Treo 650. I'm wondering what type of upgrade path will be available.

The latest rumor that I hear is November.

    For what that's worth...

Post Sprint Tight-Lipped Regarding Treo 650 ACE Release

Sprint Reps were pretty tight-lipped, as expected when questioned about the expected release date of the Treo 650/Ace...Here is the response I recieved when I questioned them about it...At least it confirms that the Treo Ace will indeed be appearing soon....

    Thank you for contacting Sprint.

An exact date about the launch of Handspring Treo Ace/650 cannot be
ascertained. This is because we thoroughly test a PCS Phone's
performance on our network strength before launching the product, and
    this process is time-consuming.

However, when we will launch the Handspring Treo Ace/650, numerous
promotional offers and media will inform you about the launch.

I appreciate your understanding in this matter.

    Default snappermail

I use "snappermail" application I receive, GMAIL sprint, and local ISP all to my treo...

MSN to my understanding doen't allow either forwarding your msn email nor access it to snapper or other mail app on the treo...

    Default snappermail

I've used it (snapper)on my treo 300 years ago now my 600 ...I like the integration of sending receiving pics and other attachments... automated sync send receive. SD card storage of mail works with exchange for corporate secure mail systems. I've never used the palm app for mail.

This link http://kb.palmone.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE?New,Kb=PalmSupportKB,ts=Palm_External20 01,case=obj(26301) describes MSN and accessing is available only for outlook and outlook express.

I did find a web e-mail account that will (I haven't tested) retrieve msn to fastmail account and you can then access that from your treo. I don't trust these types of accounts if your msn account have sensitive corporate or personal info.

also if you want to use your treo to act as internet access point for your laptop...( not too useful if you use wifi already) in non hotspot areas. It's called PDANET an app that runs on laptop connect to treo via Bluetooth or USB ...turns treo into modem not real fast (slow) but
    in a pinch it's worth the 30.00usd

lastly this vendor has some cools stuff for your treo

    hope this helps.
