    Question Static

Anyone else experiencing a high level of (i guess i will call it static or noise) when the 650 is next to something like a radio, either when the phone is about to ring or it is checking e-mail. Any one else having this problem. (I had the same thing with my 600 but not as bad)

Is there anything you can do to minimize it?

    Default Radio Interference with Monitor

I think I am having the same problem. My computer monitor "jumps" periodically when my Treo is near the monitor or CPU. (And I keep my Treo near my computer because the direct-sync cable is pretty short.) I don't mind the "jumping" but I wonder if it will have an effect on the monitor or Treo.

    Default Static

I also have the problem. It also creates a lot of static on my telephone. That is how I know that my Treo keyboard is going to lock up.

What does any of this have to do with your keyboard going to lock up. The hum that you hear is the wireless network as it is communicating with your phone. It doesn't matter if it's a treo or any other cell phone, your going to hear the same hum or buz if you will when you place a call or a call comes in or you are actively sending data and you put you phone next to a radio or speaker.

    Default He's right

I also have a V400 and most anytime it's communicating with the network, I get "noise" on things such as monitors, tv's, radios, etc.
