    Default Stylus target not centered.

    Hi,

New forum member. Hope someone can help.

I received a replacement 650 yesterday (mine finally died Tuesday after being dropped about 15 times).

Got the phone up and running last night.

Worked fine all day today. Stylus targeted fine.

Did a hotsync tonight. All contact, calendar etc. info migrated just fine.

However, now when I go to apps screen, stylus operation is incorrect. For example, if I click on screen application, the app directly below the one I touch with stylus is selected. Therefore, I can't select the drop down menu at top of screen to select an option to reset the target area.

The drop down is set on "Main" and if I try to touch the drop down, it launches the app directly below the drop down.

The main phone touchpad screen works fine with the stylus.

    Anyone?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi:

So don't keep it secret, share....Did you have to recalibrate, do a soft reset or what?

Glad you are up and running and welcome to ET.

Well, it was pretty simple actually...I'm almost too embassed to tell.

I realized I could scroll through the different app menus with the button on the phone. Once I got to the System apps, I was able to select Preferences and then Touchscreen which allowed me to do the target thingy.

    All is well now.
