Sync and Franklin Convey
I have a treo 650, running windows XP. Also have McAfee Antivirus software. Sync's wirelessly.
Recently I installed the PlanPlus From Franklin and I can not sync. It keeps hanging in places it should not be hanging. I have even tried with the cable (that I can no longer get to work either).
Also when it gets to the point of now syncing with Outlook it comes up for a script approval. I do not want that to get approved all the time, I want it to go ahead and sync and no not wait for me to approve it.
Anyone have assistance for me?

I did a bit of Google research and people seem to have problems when they install a new version (3.0) over an old version -- and then try to sync. According to what I've seen, de-installing and re-installing might do the trick. I'm not very familiar with the software or databases involved. As with anything of this nature, be sure to backup if you go that route. Have you contacted the developer? They might have some insight as to a quick fix.
Sorry for the delay in getting a response and wish I could be of more assistance.

Duplicate Syncing
Chris I read your post the other day and went back to Franklin and you were correct it was a lot of un-install re-install. I finally got it to work.. I also had to go into regedit and delete something..
Now I have a problem with duplicate entries.. Why I don't know but I got this error message.. ERROR: 00008001 Your handheld has not previously been synchronized to the currently open Outlook profile (or you have changed your handheld user name). If you have reset or renamed your handheld, open Outlook, click on "View/Folder List", locate and click on the PocketMirror folder, delete the user note, and re-synchronize. If you want to add your Handheld to the list of authorized Handhelds to be synced with this Outlook profile, see the help file topic "Syncing Multiple Handhelds to the Same Profile". 897: PMirror Outlook Calendar synchronization failed -- Outlook Contacts 3.1.6.0 (OEM) ERROR: 00008001 Failed opening Outlook interface. 480: PMirror Outlook Contacts synchronization failed -- Outlook Notes 3.1.6.0 (OEM) ERROR: 00008001 Failed opening Outlook interface. 480: PMirror Outlook Notes synchronization failed Additionally I notice that the HotSync looks like some kind of duplicate syncing.. Can anyone assist again?

I wish I knew more about the solutions (Franklin Covey/PocketMirror). I'm not sure what the error message indicates.

Well at least it sounds like you are close to a solution.
I guess that's the "glass is half full" way of looking at it.

I was having problems with Plan Plus as well. I contacted their tech support (Franklin Covey) department via their chat support and got great support right away. They fixed my issue...different from yours, however. You might want to try that out if you haven't already.

ms treo diva di you get your issue fixed? If not I can try to help I use plan plus myself.
