sync problem for palm calendar

I know what I did - I just don't know how to undo it. When I set up my phone I named my file something other than my palm file for my calendar sync. Now I can't go back and change my file name to match what's on my desktop. Any ideas????

The only thing I can figure is to completely wipe out my phone and start all over again. I have lost the original disk that came with my phone so I' d have to go through the hassle of getting a new disk etc and losing all my current phone numbers saved in the phone.

Whil its true that once you sync a new device, the user name is locked in, you won't have to lose anything. You can backup your contacts and calendar either on your computer via Palm Desktop or to the SD card on your Treo via a backup app. After you reset your Treo and match it up with your computer, you can re-import your contacts & calendar.
