    Default Sync with Palm Desktop = a big FAT NO!

    In any event now the Treo is syncing with the Palm Desktop which I do not want it to do.,. how can I make this stop!

    Hi MsTreoDiva:

    Do you mean you were syncing with Outlook or another program and suddenly it changed? I believe you may have to run the Treo installation disk to change the conduit, but if you could clarify, that would be helpful. If I missed previous posts you might have made that explained the problem, I apologize.

    Yeah I had a previous post where I had installed Franklin Covey and the conduits got all messed up. I had to install and reinstall Palm and now its syncing with Palm Desktop and Outlook and I only want it to sync with Outlook. I am getting duplicate calendar and contact entries..

    Try managing your conduits. I use Missing Sync, but I know that Palm's conduit manager can be used to turn on & off specific conduits. Try disabling (setting to "do nothing") the contacts, events, & todo conduits. If this has the desired effect, you can set "do nothing" as the default action.
