Movies are really too big to try and sync over. I suggest you go to CompUSA and pick up a little USB thumb card reader for $9.99. I saw them there last weekend and they have one for each type of media (including SD cards).![]()
Hey everyone,
I was trying to transfer over my first movie using the synch method because I dont have a card reader... I keep getting messages that says the synch was lost after a few minutes... anyone know what it might be? thanks.

Even better- get a copy of Softick card export so that you don't have to remove your card from your Treo.![]()

Thanks guys! I went out to best buy and purchased a card reader writer.. it was a little bit more on the pricy side but its real small and i can transfer movies over super quick. So I made a folder with Treo movies and I just remove ones I've seen and upload ones I want to see... it only takes a minute so it's real nice. FYI, everyone should have a copy of scarface on their Treo!![]()
I like the card reader option as well. I used Softick (and it worked great) but it was just one more app wasting space.
I guess you have to balance that against not having to lug a card reader around.Originally Posted by meangene01

Lug? It's like an inch long and weighs maybe 2 ounces. Besides, I don't carry it with me--I copy what I need and leave it at home. If I need anything on the road I grab it off my server over SSH.
