syncing email addresses

does any one know how to sync my yahoo email to versamail. i've tried for a while and it just won't work. going online is sooo slow. i also have a gmail account. if you have any info on that it will be helpful.

I used versamail for my gmail account.
Log into your gmail and go to Mail settings. Click on the forwarding and pop tab. Click on enable pop, then click on the configurations instructions link. Click on "other" mail clients.
Now you can fill in the info to your versamail. Use 587 for the outgoing mail port. That is if you're using cingular.

I've been struggling for weeks and I kept getting the error message to either check my DNS or IP address or that there my server name was incorrect. These error messages were all incorrect because I had done these things right.

I finally got Yahoo to work in Cingular Treo 650's VersaMail by changing the advanced settings as follows:

versamail > menu > accounts > account setup > yahoo > edit > enter your info > next > enter your info > next > enter your info > next > advanced > DO NOT CHECK EITHER BOX FOR INCOMING SERVER SETTINGS. LEAVE PORT AS 110. > next > OUTGOING SERVER SETTINGS PORT 25. USE AUTHENTICATION ESMTP > ENTER YOUR YAHOO LOGIN FOR USERNAME AND PASSWORD > done.

This finally worked for me. Hope it helps you out too.

I have a treo 650 with verizon and my versamail is not working with yahoo either. I checked the setting that treogirl suggested and they were all correct. I kept getting an error and to go to http://mail.yahoo.com but that site doesn't help me much. I got my cox email to work so I know its capable of downloading email. If you figure anything out, let me know and I'll do the same. thanks

Well I just found the answer and it appears that versamail won't download email from a free yahoo acount. You have to pay for the mail plus which is 20 bucks a year for it to work. Figures, yahoo is such a pain sometimes.
