T-Mobile internet access
I just received my new Treo 650 (unbranded/unlocked) and aside from the coma it's going into after the screen dims for 25 mins. (see my other post), I love it. I have T-Mobile service and the $5.99/mo. internet plan. I can surf the web, get my Gmail via VersaMail, but have found that any other application that needs to retrieve information from the internet will error out, unable to get the info (e.g., TreoAlarm, Google Maps, even my work email using the Exchange ActiveSync server). Any ideas why this would be?
Not sure if it's related, but I tried installing OperaMini beta 4 but that errored out as well. Has anyone been able to successfully use it with T-Mobile with the same data plan?

OperaMini uses Java VM. Java VM has some settings in the Prefs application. There, you should be able to enter the proxy settings for Java apps. Since you are t-mobile user, use 216.155.165.050:8080 for proxy.

UPDATE:
OperaMini is working great! And I finally received a working 650 with NO problems!
Anyone have any clue if I can access my work email (Exchange ActiveSync) with this same T-Mobile setup?
